Junkineering is currently looking for an experienced Studio Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing successful mobile game projects, build and integrate operational processes from scratch facilitating communication and holding accountability across engineering teams working to ensure the project is released.

We expect you to have a deep passion for mobile games, as well as an impressive track record of leading game development in a fast-paced, constantly learning and creative environment.

For which tasks (responsibilities)?
  • Manage the company's operational processes with the help of a highly effective team to ensure the implementation of key business strategies, goals and indicators;

  • Drive insights and innovation in mobile game development and business with a deep understanding of the ever-evolving market. Work in partnership with other leaders across the organisation to drive business performance;

  • Analysis of competitive projects and market trends;

  • Interaction with the team on all stages of game development;

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with team members and stakeholders, including regular attendance and participation in meetings;

  • Relay the global vision of the game;

  • Report regularly to stakeholders;

  • Consult with the supervisor on strategic issues;

  • Review decisions that affect project stakeholders.

What kind of professional are we looking for?
  • 5+years as an Operations Manager in the mobile game industry with increasing responsibility;    

  • Significant experience and excellent skills in managing and leading diverse cross-functional teams;

  • Deep understanding of the games industry and passion for games in all their forms, especially mobile F2P games;

  • Proven skills in building an effective team of key project participants;  

  • Ability to make decisions and solve problems in a fast-paced environment;

  • Proven game production experience, keen business acumen and deep product knowledge, with the ability to see the big picture across all areas of game development;

  • English at least level B2;

  • Knowledge and understanding of the main KPIs of game projects;

  • Demonstrate success in the games-as-service category.
